Everithing comes to
WINE
The natural way_
From the beginning Davide picked the hardest path: less but well-made, excellent-quality wine.
Now, making “natural wine” follows a well-trodden path, but back in 2007, when his first bottles were ready, it was a niche market for a few enthusiasts. Davide was a believer from the outset, in part thanks to his encounter with Angiolino Maule – the wine-maker who has made the “natural method” his manifesto – and who was the first to teach him the basics for “natural farming” without weed killers and chemical fertilizers.
The vision_
Grapes become wine without any interference, either in
the vineyard or in the cellar. These are genuine wines, respectful of the land, artisanal but without defect. The hand-picked grapes are carefully selected, undergo direct pressing, a few filterings and are aged in steel with some time spent in small oak barrels. Finally, there’s a unique and inimitable element that can be found in every bottle of the winery: the soul of the producer.
The Garganega grape_
The strength of this indigenous grape variety lies in its versati- lity. It can be vinified in a variety of ways yet it always produces important wines. Time has shown that Garganega can with- stand long ageing times in the bottle, resulting in memorable wines. The vines grow on hills of volcanic origin, and the wine has a definite minerality; this is the distinctive character of these wines, where the Garganega is perceptible in every sip.
The labels_
Watercolour was the technique selected: a declaration of affinity with the colours and the nuances of the wine. The green of a young wine like the Crestan white, two warm and intense yellows for Rugoli and Vecchie Vigne and a deep red for Giaroni. L1 has a different label: it is the winery’s first “sparkling” wine and has a history all of its own.

BIANCO RUGOLI

The name comes from the area where the vineyards grow.
The grapes spend five days on the skins, followed by a quick stint in wood, and then a full year of aging in the bottle.
ROSSO GIARONI

Pure, 100% Merlot.
L1

GD
Durella + Garganega
A silent traditional method: roots and sea spray.
Dry, straight, and subtly elusive. It possesses extreme finesse, with a tight and delicate mousse.
Sharp, stripped-back, and purely elegant.
The desire to get back in the game with a new wine— a choice that’s been years in the making, through research and endless trials.
Finally, our Traditional Method is here, exactly how we wanted it: bold, yet elegant.
